Dopo aver militato nelle giovanili bianconere da giocatore, dal 2008 comincia a lavorare come preparatore dei gruppi Under e poi, negli anni successivi, lavorando a stretto contatto con i preparatori della prima squadra: laureato a Verona in Scienze delle Attività Motorie e Sportive Preventive ed Adattate, Matteo è anche insegnante presso la scuola ‘Ivo de Carneri" di Civezzano. Nel 2016 fa parte dello staff “strength and conditioning” con la Nazionale all’Europeo Under 16, e dal 2020 è Preparatore Atletico della Dolomiti Energia Trentino.

After having played in the Aquila Basket's youth teams as a player, in 2008 he began to work as a coach for the youth groups and then, in the following years, became the Athletic Trainer of the first team: graduated in Verona in Sciences of Motor Activities and Preventive and Adapted Sports, Matteo is also a teacher at the 'Ivo de Carneri' high school in Civezzano. In 2016 he was part of the strength and conditioning staff with the Italian National team at the Under 16 European Championship, and starting from 2020 he was Athletic Trainer of the Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
